So it's taken months, but here's pictures of Eva in her amazing blessing dress that Grandma Elaine made for her. She's about twice as big as when she was actually blessed! As I remember, she was super crabby on the day she was blessed so we didn't even try to do pictures. Please don't look at my wrinkly sheet that she's laying on!

When all things are possible.

It has been mentioned on this blog on previous occasions that the Packer children (the self-mobile ones) are obsessed with races and who is first. So Sam's bewilderment this afternoon at finding himself alone on the stairs after getting out of the car is understandable. Usually Grace is right behind or in front on him, pelting up the stairs to see who gets to the door first (Grace was still in the car, gathering up her dolls that she just couldn't go to the Farmer's Market without this morning ). Sam stops, looks around confusedly, and says in a hesitating manner:

"Grace, are you invisible?"

He was 100% serious.

Eva Speaks

About a week or two ago, Eva started talking and even laughing a little bit. This video doesn't have any laughing , but it's still pretty cute. The down side is, now that she's so social, she's less inclined to be content if no one is paying attention to her. She lets us know, LOUDLY, if she feels she's being neglected!
